Baburi Mosque, Panipat, India

Named after the first Mughal ruler Babur, the Baburi mosque is situated within the grounds of the Kabuli Bagh. It bears three inscriptions, two in Persian and one in Arabic, that ascribe the construction of the mosque, a well and a chahar-bagh located near it to Babur in 1527-8 and 1528-9. The inscription on the mihrab dates the Baburi mosque to 1527-8.
